Sending email with N4L

New Zealand schools using the Network For Learning (N4L) network must add a few configurations.

SMTP settings

You can send email using N4L's mail servers using these settings:

There is no authentication because your school is "inside" the N4L network.

Note that if you connect to Athenaeum from home (outside the N4L network), you will not be able to send email.

Mail Relay settings

An additional step is required where your N4L will protect your sending address from "spoofing" and spam. The details are on this web page:
